FranchiseFacts National Franchisee Survey
BOSTON, Mass. – How profitable is it to own and operate a franchise? Which companies support their franchisee network most effectively? Are certain people drawn to franchising more than others? Is franchise ownership a more common first career, mid term career or a pre-retirement endeavor? Today, the answers to these and other important franchise-related questions are not available. Franchising is a $600B industry, bigger than the automotive, computer and airline industries combined, yet very little accurate and objective information exists about the thousands of franchise companies (franchisors) and owners (franchisees) comprising this massive industry. But a new information services company, FranchiseFacts, wants to fill this information gap by surveying franchisees about their experiences, and creating customized reports of the results.
The company’s online National Franchisee Survey is now live at www.FranchiseFactsUSA.com, and all franchise owners/managers in all industries are invited to participate. The Survey focuses on indicators such as franchisee profitability, satisfaction with the franchise business model, and quality of interaction with the franchisor.
Results will be reported in a variety of formats. Target FranchiseFacts customers will be the franchisor seeking the competitive edge when marketing franchises, and seeking to improve franchisee relations, the potential franchise buyer looking for unbiased information to make the soundest buying decision, and media outlets looking for new and never before available statistics about franchising in America. As an incentive to participation, survey participants will also have access to survey results so they too can find out how they stack up within their industry and against their competitors.
FranchiseFacts anticipates thousands of survey responses over the next several months, and expects to prepare its first reports later this year.
